The barrier of Private Life

What do we mean by Private Life?

Greek antiquity: "to be private of policy"

“What is private life deprived of?” Quite simply of life itself, which is cruelly absent. People are as deprived as possible of communication and of self-fulfillment; deprived of the opportunity to personally make their own history." Guy Debord 1961

“Propietary software keeps users in a division and a state of powerlessness. Division, because each user has been forbidden to help others distributing copies and powerlessness, because the user doesn't have the ability to change a program nor a way to find out what it does” Richard Stallman 2004
